Mission Statement
The mission of the Technology Museum of WA Inc is to educate the public of the continuing benefits of technology to our culture through the preservation, maintenance and display of old and new technology artefacts.
Our OBjects
The Technology Museum of WA Inc is unique in that it specialises in telling the story of the technological history, progress and future of computers, data systems, photography, theatre production, television production, aviation electronics, mining systems, telephone, radio, astronomy and other technologies. No museum in Australia has taken on these technological subjects as their main focus. The Museum will be the go-to-place for everything to do with technology and will show a unique perspective on how technology has changed the culture of our society and its world view in western Australia.
Donating an artefact
If you wish to donate an item of new or old technology, please download the donation form below and send it with the item to 11a Merton Street, Victoria Park Western Australia 6100, Don’t forget to sign it!
If you are unsure about donating an item, give us a call on +61 0490496508 .
all DONATED ITEMS ARE KEPT IN TRUST FOR THE Museum Collection. If the donation is sent to the Museum and we do not require it for the collection, we will dispose of it according to the requirements as denoted on the donation form.
NO donation will be accepted without a signed donation form. A copy of the form will be returned to the donor. If at anytime in the future the Museum ends, all artefacts will be offered to other like-minded museums as per our constitution.
If no home is found for the artefact, the item may be sold and the funds donated to a like-minded Museum. No member of the Museum will benefit from the sale of any artefact. For more information contact the chairperson at…
